I was out yesterday.
Till pretty late at night.
While on my way back home...
the rain poured with all its might.
I sat in the bus and gazed out the window.
198, oh 198...
what was it that i just ate?

(eh-eh ek-eh ehhh .. hey-yay)

It was black and the street's covered in yellow light.
As i alighted the bus the atmosphere turned mellow.
But being me, too stubborn plus determined.
I walked in the rain as if there was no tomorrow.

Upon reaching my home sweet home of all nation.
The rain,..
drenched me with water and more water,..
adding to my sensation.

(ummmmm- ah yeah)

Couples and banglas passed me with umbrellas.
But i,..
with noone or thing but just the moon at sight.
Could do nothing,..
not even to run muchorless hide.
Wearing my almighty frictionless havanas,..
covered with no such sun or light.

(So sooo...)

When i got home.
My mother said,..
Why you so wet until like that?
Were you playing in the rain?

(eh eh eh-ay-aint)

I smiled and nodded.
And then i silently said,
If only the rain could wash away all the pain.
The pain, that i feel inside.

(wawawa..wa-ah- ah.. ey-ey-ey.. ayeee)

Rain, rain...
Don't go awayy..
Please, come again every other dayyy.
